of a Bugeye in a garage about two miles from the house. The owner died about 15 years ago and it has sat ever since in his garage. Last seen three years ago with flat tires etc. However it was on the road previous.

Will keep working on it and see what happens. Understand son had intention of working it but...........

This is going to take awile.

You're becoming quite the neighborhood sleuth, Jack.

It's Miss Agatha, she just has a nose for Brit cars and just loves talking to folks about them. I think she is looking for a bud.

Even wife said "Oh realy, that would be nice."

You wouldn't rather restore a different model this time, Jack? I think when I'm done my two, I'd like to do something similar but a little different... a TR3, a BMW 3.0 CS maybe. Learn new tricks, etc.

I have been working on a 69 BGT for a while now. The guy who has it was thinking of restoring it, but thinks it isn't worth the cash.

I think I almost have him down to $500 for the car. Lets hope both of us get to bring home some orphans! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Heh, heh. I haven't finished my current project yet and my wife is asking me what I am going to do next. I love my wife!

Now if I could find something in my neighborhood like you did Jack, I would be a happy man.

Durn guys, I got to find it first. But then just knowing it is out there is part of the fun.

Now you know, Jack - the search & the find is almost more fun than driving it!

Yeah, Jack sniff it out! But after finishing my MGB, I really wanted to tackle another make, that's one thing that I found appealing about the bugeye. So many things that are similar to the MG, yet so many things that are different.
