I have a great wife...........

..who just watched me put an MGC air filter box and its backing plates into the dishwasher in the kitchen....and turn it on to the "pots and pans" cycle for washing....twice.....without saying a word....either time!

No....she knows car parts when she see them.

Did she make any phone calls and speak quietly into the phone? Did you hear the words "hit" or "straightjacket"?

Well, Rick I am sure you have a great wife, and once again she has out maneuvered you. She would like to have a new dishwasher. She is hoping the current one will die very soon and she is planning on your feeling guilty that you may have hastened its demise. You will gladly offer to purchase the most current stainless steel up scale washer available, she will suggest purchasing one just a little less expensive to further control the situation. It took me over 20 years to figure out how they do this, I am a bit slow.

IT took my bride quite a while to figure out
that I was using the blender to make my carnauba
car wax in. But when she did, it cost me a new blender.

But she has not caught me using the dishwasher for my car parts yet,
maybe because, like the washing machine and rags, I always do a
post wash and wipe.

Reminds me of an old "Over The Hedge" cartoon that I've kept-
Husband, when busted by the Wife says "You mean that carburators go-
on the Second shelf of the dishwasher?".
Remember.....they NEVER forget!
And also remember - Don't ever mess with Jean!!!! (Reno - 2011)

I did remember to put the air box on the top rack in the dishwasher!

And......I still wonder if Doug has recovered from Jean's tongue-lashing!
