I hate working under the dash....

So todays achievements... the dash is back together. Does anyone like working under the dash? In any car? Surely the Healey has got to be one of the easiest, and yet it still requires triple jointed arms and wrists, much cursing and patience....

Currently all the lights just aded still work - after refitting the dash and new panel. However I've discovered the heater fan now doesn't work... Using the multi-meter it is evident that there is power getting to the switch, and power leaving it, so at least it isn't a result of the work under the dash I've been doing. I have been trying to re-attach the hose to the fan (those aluminium and paper hose/ducts are truly a PITA - they never want to fit and then decide to start delaminating... ) so maybe I'm upset the wiring there. Will look into that soon.

Picked up the soft top frame from the sand blasters today and delivered to the powder coaters. Should be ready by the end of the week. Forgot to include the trim piece that the soft top fabric clips to that runs around the back of the cabin... grrrr.

The weather is particularly cold and damp atm and dark. I'm spending the whole day with a head lamp on! I need to get some new bulbs for my portable floods. I started to fit the new poly bushes to the front sway bar at the end of the day... patience ran out. Time to call it quits.
