So, the big box has....issues. Facebook loads text only....yahoogroups are messed up bad....even BCF loads slow. So we looked at it...won't load some pages, can't upload ASW updates.....and MS Auto Updates are...gone. So, 2120 local, off it went for an overhaul. So, I'm on a laptop. Gawd, I hate these things.
 
Sounds like ya need an exterminator.
 
You would think, and so did I. I run HiJackThis every two seeks, Blacklight Rootkit Revealer same, SpyBot every 3-4 weeks, Privacy Guardian nightly, AVAST runs continually,with weekly full scans, Super Anti Spyware running in the background, CCCleaner when warranted, nothing shows up, other than them tracking cookies. Security settings high. Java Script, BITS, or something to do with HTML editor is not allowing the data to be properly loaded, is the thought right now.
I don't go anywhere that could have an issue, and anyway, AVAST has this warning system in place with the green flags for known bad sites.
I personally think it's Lucas, or the Ghost thereof, come to seek vengeance.
