I had a Tinster episode today

I went to go for a cruise in the cold today and found that I couldn't shift into reverse or 4th. It appears that the pins (bolts) and jamb nuts are worn and need replacing, since the spring that is under the shifter was wound up where it should not have been.

Luckily, my ace tech, Erik at Her Majesty's Service had an open bay and told me to drive it down. It's way too cold to do this in my garage, so I'm very happy that Erik wants the work. Time for those new motor mounts to go in as well. She is really gonna be happy when this weekend is over.

Sorry, but not tutorial on this one. Or maybe I still can since the parts won't be here until Monday. Hmmmmmm....
