This was a DREAM... thank god.

putting a side any possibilities as to whether or not it could really happen, I had a really crazy dream last night. I was driving my 'B and thoroughly enjoying myself and then the car began misfiring. I pulled to the side of the road and popped the hood. When I did so I noticed #1 had come dislodged from the distributer cap. So I reached in to placed the wire back on (with the engine still running). As i did so #'s 2 and 3 decided to detonate on the distributor cap and launched the wires off and subsiquently sent the metal bits that make up the connectors within flying striking me on the arms and forehead.

At this point, I woke up thinking WTF? After a few seconds i can remember thinking "not possible" and rolling back over and into sleep again..

Anyone else have strange or not entirely possible dreams about working on your LBCs? I this might be from spending more time under the bonnet than behind the wheel...

I dream about mine running, sometime soon... a real fantasy!
 
sound like too much Pizza and Guiness.

I used to have a dream about this one particular corner on a two-lane divided highway that i used to travel daily on my triumph m/c. At one point on this road the east and west lanes ae offset about 150 feet vertically. my dream was about flying over the guard rail and flying thru the air.......always made me slow down a bit.

I had a wonderfull "you killed the car" ala ferris buller nightmare not to long ago. I think the worse working on the car dream was right after I started working on it fairly hard core. I was unbolting something from under the car when a ton of silver dollar sized spiders started crawling out of the nooks and cranys. Scarry thing is after I pulled it out of storage spiders were everywhere in it.
 
I used to have dreams where I'd finally get the car I was after but somehow before I could drive it it would be the size of a model. I never actually saw it shrink. it was like a bad trick of perspective....
I guess it was too many hours sniffing paint and glue as a young teen wishing that the 1:24 scale hot rod I just built was sitting in my driveway.
Of course now that a classic is in the driveway, I still wish that I could drive it (see James Wilson, above) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif
