I found my lens cap!

About a week ago, the lens cap for my new Canon 70-200 "L" series lens went missing. I searched the house high and low and could not locate it. I was resigned to having to order a new cap. Well, this morning, as I was getting ready for work, I decided to wear a pari of tennis shoes that I don't usually wear, but decided to since Friday is "casual" day at work. AS I put my foot into my shoe, there was something in the shoe. Can you guess what was in my shoe?

I have no idea how my lens cap ended up in my shoe!

On my Nikon, there is no provision to tether the lens cap to the camera.
So I drilled a teeny 1/16" hole in the edge of the cap and made my own.
Otherwise, I would have lost the cap years ago.

my Daughter lost hers year before last in the garden(1.3 acres grass) and I found it last year in pieces (I had run over it with the lawn tractor) ooops!
 
We have two little pups and one of them is forever putting something in one of my shoes. I think she hides things from the other pup. Tough getting a shoe on in that situation.:highly_amused: PJ
 
We had a cat a few years ago that liked to put something is SWMBO's shoes out of revenge that properly belonged in the litter box. They didn't get along all that well, had a hard time determining who owned the house.
