It was a lot of work... A gallon of aircraft stripper.. two putty knifes and a wife that wondered if she would ever see me on the couch again!! She should have never bought me this TR3A... But she is painted, ready for the rack and pinion and waiting for my motor from TSI.. I took my cover for the spare to a paint shop and they mixed it just right... I put two coats of base and four coars of expoxy clear... Check the picture!

I'll try again for the attachment...

Keep tryin' Capt Roy ...

Remember, if at first you don't succeed, get a bigger hammer. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hammer.gif

One more time and then I give up!!

Let's see if I can do a simple attachment or if I need to get my granddaughter to help me!

Roy, you need to try again. We are all waiting to see the results!

Roy
I can't wait to see it. My engine bay needs painting desperately. I'll be asking you for advice.

Re: I finished paint the engine compartment tonigh

I've been seeing this all day with attachments. I think there are still some glitches in the new setup that is preventing attachments from carrying over. Basil mentioned something to that effect in one of his posts.

Roy,
Why you painted your engine bay white, with red all over. (to be read with Cajun accent). You've been spending way too much time with your car, the Specs and Reds are jumping in the boat down at DuLac.
