Hi
I have the 74 TR6 back on the road. I drove it the 45 miles to work this morning. Had an issue with the wiper's which turned out to be the fact that the nut holding the outer drive tube to the motor gearbox was not tightened.
It is very quiet, with the rearend rebuilt, the engine rebuilt, the overdrive working, the new interior smelling nice. The rocker rust repaired. Life is good. Hardtop installed. I am pleased with the sound dampening of the RAAMmat product.
I am thinking about driving up to Vancouver for the All British Field Meet. https://www.westerndriver.com/abfm/index.htm

I will try and post some pictures tonight.

Thanks for all the help along the way.

Nice! That must have been hugely enjoyable, especially after all the work you have done.

Where did you put the sound dampening down?

Norton,

Congratulations! It is a good feeling, isn't it?

Wow, how neat! Makes you want to thump your chest and jump around, eh? Good for you, enjoy.

pretty low key intro for what sounds like a huge project. feel good, enjoy...........!!!!!

sail, naw he's done a blow by blow on it. Though, I was wondering about it as we hadn't heard word 1 for a while. I guess i could have popped down to see him.

don, i would love to pop out and see you both, probably wont' be naked but that is a good thing for you

Excellent. You are a brave man using the 6 to go to work so soon after getting it on the road. Well done.

Especially for the long drive he has to do. It is a good thing he leaves at 0 dark 30. Not much traffic. Wouldn't want it to over heat going up the hill on I-5 before Seattle!
