I especially enjoyed the line "NOT for the kids or the sqwemish if you dont have respect for this car it will hurt you". What on Earth does that mean? My interpretation is that the car is dangerously unsafe to drive.
 
As a huge fan of big V-8's in little cars, I'm intrigued by this little Spit. HOWEVER...that ground effects stuff has to go! Also, unless they've done something to beef up the almost nonexistent frame under these things, the first burnout is likely to turn it into a pretzel.

As for the safety thing, if you want a safe car, buy a Volvo. All things considered, I'm gonna have to pass on this one, besides I haven't figured out how to sneak it into the shop without my wife seeing it.

I take it to mean simply that this car has a much higher power-to-weight ratio than usual, which means it takes a bit more care to drive it.

Just to illustrate the point, I learned to ride on a full-sized motorcycle with only 90cc and 4.5bhp. When I moved up to a bike with nearly 10 times the bhp (but about the same weight), it pulled a wheelie on my very first take-off. Nothing wrong with the bike, I just had to learn not to use full throttle when launching (and sit a bit farther forward on the saddle).

Let's face it, Ebay is now setting the standard for the value of LBC's and can not be left out of these forums. It is a daily stop on the internet for most LBC owners. I have just aquired my second Ebay Triumph with as much delight as my first. Pictures to come.
 
I bet if you remove that front spoiler, and the rear spoiler, and the rear valance extension, and the front flares, and the rear flares, that would look pretty good, - almost like a stock Spit except for the 289 out the hood. A poor mans Cobra.
