I was told about this site at a Christmas party last year. A gentleman from over on the Central East Coast of the state made me aware. I joined that night, and have lurked here several times since.

I live in Winter Haven, FL., having moved from the Keys about a year ago. I'm retired from the fire department down there, and now work as an EMT for a private ambulance service.

I own a 78 Spitfire that my wife says "is a one year project that is nearing 10." I will get on that this winter, for sure.

I really enjoy this site, and since the new server has been put into operation, it flies!

Great site, and if any of you live near me in Central Florida, please get in touch.

Best to all,
John Thacker
