I Bought a "16"

After almost 10 years,I'm replacing the '94 Dodge Dakota.
I found a 2003 (that's almost new!)Dakota Quad Cab 4WD.On the
side of the bed it says "4X4" - to me that = 16.
Thanks to everyone who's suffered through my search for
a replacement.It needs some work,& the price was reasonable.
When I asked the girl that I bought it from where the
side covers to the dash were,she told me that her pet snake
got loose,& was up in the dash (she's recovered the snake
since then).In the paperwork that I got with it there was a
work order for the heater/AC not working well.The diagnoses
was that the snake was blocking the vent(s).I wouldn't want
to be the tech who got that job!
Now how do I get the cigarette smell out of the upolstry/
carpeting?

I thought you were upset with the fuel mileage from the last one. This ain't gonna be any better is it?

Edmunds.com says they're comfortable but describes it "as thirsty as a frat brother" - 13 city - 16 highway.

Actually my Rastro don't get much better. About 15 averaged thru the tank

The '94 averages about 17-19.I don't think this will be much worse.
Besides,the '94 took Premium,& the '03 takes Regular - 20cents a gallon
differance.
I still need to sell the '94 - I'd let it go for $2200.Last time I
looked,$2200 didn't buy much.
I was also humored to read (in the owner's manual) that there's a
"Party Mode" for the interior lights - you can turn them off when the
doors are open.
