I wonder how many times Albert Einstein got told that his name was spelled wrong?

Many, but not all, the objections are addressed by completing the rule: "...except when sounding like 'a' as in neighbor or weigh."

I used to pride myself on being a pretty decent speller, but never could keep the I before e thing straight, especially for the word "freind" which is one of those exceptions (I think)

I have never been good at spelling.
 
I before E is a fact. Current (I) leads voltage (E) in a capacitance (C) circuit.
I before E is a lie. Voltage (E) leads current (I) in an inductive (L) circuit.
