Ive recently purchased this little gem. was restored 15 years ago and garage kept. No rust all original metal, runs good, needs some minor cosmetic things. all new rubber, carb, tuneup, brakes, wheel cylinders. I wish i found it a little earlier in the season. I will have to put it away for the winter in a month. Im finding VERY little in the way of parts and info on this car. Any tips or the like please help me out. Thanks and its a pleasure to be part of your club, Chris

Greetings, and welcome to the asylum!

I'm afraid Tens don't get a lot of love. Your best bet for parts is to get a factory parts manual and look for parts that were used on more popular cars. They show up on eBay from time to time. Or ask here if you have a specific question/need.

For example, the engine and carb were used on early Heralds, so Canley might have some of your carb parts (though not many, all I really see is a gasket set).

You might also check with Ted Schumacher at TSi, he might have some used parts on hand. My Dad sold/gave him a couple of Tens a few years back.

Might also be worth posting over in the Triumph forum, if Andy Mace doesn't see your post here. He's knows far more about Tens than I do, and may even be familiar with your particular car.

Welcome aboard, there are a few TR10s still out there, even in my relatively rural corner of the world we have one in our club and I saw driver another for sale last year. You might check Kip as well: https://www.kipmotor.com/index.htm Look at their "orphans" catalog

Congratulations when I worked at The Roadster Factory in the eighties Tom Householder brought one to us for a while. I did not appreciate it back then but find as I age cars like that become very appealing. A gentleman in Columbia SC has a sedan and wagon in his yard.
Good luck,
Don Mills

A lot of Spitfire parts work on the 10. Dad had an estate wagon. He put disk brakes ( with trunnon and arms) from a late spit on the car. Direct bolt on. Later he put the 1500 engine and overdrive in it. He srove it to work for many years, about 50 miles round trip.
