Its been a very, very, long time since I was really interested in a new car that I might be able to afford. But I just read about the Hyundai Genesis Coupe the other day and it definitely has my attention. Rear wheel drive (a must have for me), should have pretty good handling and performance, not prohibitively expensive, not particularly distinguished from the gazillion other asian cars out there today but not bad looking and not overdone/garish. Has this caught anyone else's eye?
 
I'm looking forward to seeing it in person -- the pictures have looked good so far. I've had a Hyundai (2003 Accent) since new, and it's been a solid car. Reliable, and a good value. If they do this one right, and price it right, it should be a very interesting car indeed.
