Hydraulic Help

Now that I'm knee-deep into refitting all the hydraulics on the MGB, I have a request and a question.

The request is for a picture of the piping from the brake master cylinder to the connector on the driver's side inner fender ('73, dual non-servo system). As the car was already disassembled when I got it, I don't have any reference. I have some of the old pipes, but would prefer seeing a proper installation. If anyone has a picture, or can shoot one and e-mail it to me, I would appreciate it. My e-mail address is in my profile.

The question deals with the brake master cylinder. I bought a new one because of the trouble I had rebuilding the old one. Where the lines leave the cylinder there were two nylon/plastic "trap valves" with springs and clips. The new cylinder does not have them, and they are unavailable from Moss, even though they are pictured in their catalog. They don't look like much, and I would have thought that if they were necessary, they would be included with the new cylinder. I do have the old valves and springs, but no clips. Are they needed?

OK - the plot thickens:

Just removed the fitting without the banjo bolt. There IS a trap valve there, but not on the port with the banjo bolt. On my old M/C they both had the valves.

Any wisdom out there?

Yep - Cleaned one of them up and installed it. Can't figure why only one port had one, but we'll see what happens when it's time to finish the system and put it all on the road.
