Dave - there were lots of details and tangents in the 20/20 show.
But in sum: many of the human bodies on display around the country (in those "pay $25 to see real human bodies" exhibitions) seem to have come from China (surprise!), and were not legally "donated to science".
Even had photos of executed prisoners dumped at the "laboratory" where the bodies were prepared for exhibition.
The USA head of one of the corporations that tours those bodies (for beaucoup bucks) said they only use bodies donated by a Chinese medical school. But the head of that school said they never donate bodies. And the " medical school laboratory" that processes the bodies looks like a warzone. Garbage, filth, broken windows, and no way connected to the medical school.
Keep in mind that those exhibitions have been showing up all over the world, including right now in Hartford CT. Maybe the report will get some people asking themselves about the "entertainment value" of seeing dead people on display. Good lord - one of the "preparation" companies has a public website, and sells the bodies outright to anyone who wants to pay.
Here's a link to last night's story. Caution - very graphic ....

I supposed it's tempting to joke about this ... but I don't think so.
