Hudson as a British Car--Coachbuilt

Not sure that the photo's actually attached themselves but we will see. Have not been on the site for some time but it is good to be back. This post shows photos of my 1936 Hudson Stratton Sport Saloon that was Built by Coachcraft outside London. It was from a design of Reid Railton. From what the production numbers say, there were about ten of these built from 1934 to 1938. Typical to English built cars they were dated when they were sold and not produced. That means a car with 36 trim (Hudson grill and stuff) might have been built during 1936 but did not hit the street until 1937 so it would be titled as a 37. My car and one currently in England are the only two examples known for this car.

Wow! That is a beauty.

It is a beautiful car -- I've seen it at our local British Field Day, a car with quite a bit of presence.

Beautiful car, I love the grill.

One could fall in love with that car very quick! Beautiful, no doubt about it! :encouragement: PJ

I am going to have the car at the rail Road Pass Casino for the HET Western Regional Meet in late April.
