Does anyone have a good picture of an HS-2 carburetor setup they could post or e-mail to me? In particulary, I'm looking details on how the return springs connect.
Kurtis, I don't have a picture to post, but the long spring goes from the choke lever on the linkage to the center hole on the bottom of the heat shield. The two short springs are the throttle returns, and go from the cross linkage down to each of the end holes on the shield.
Jeff
Thanks Jeff and Chris. I'm having a choke return problem and wanted to confirm that I had mine set up properly (which it appears I do). I think my problem is the cable itself.
Kurtis, make sure the jets slide freely in the bushings. I've seen them where the jets were bound up, due to corrosion, or whatever, and they wouldn't return to the proper rest position.
Jeff
Thanks for the tip Jeff. However, afetr playing around with it a little more, it seems to be cable related. With the cable disconnected, everything returns fine.
