Just wondering how The Roadster Factory is doing. I keep getting emails with the title Sell Down Parts no Backorders. Anyone one have inside info. Hope they are doing well as my favorite place to buy my Triumph parts.
 
I do not have any inside information.
It looks to me like Albert is trying to sell off surplus inventory. I did a walk through their warehouse about three years ago. It sounds from his comments that he is cleaning house. I agree that was needed.

Ya the last Summer party I did the same thing. There was always a bunch of LBC parts laying around. Hope it's what you say just had some concerns. Don't want to start any roomers ether as I have not paid any attention to much in the LBC market lately.
 
Had to order some parts in the last few months from TRF. They had everything and they came quickly as usual.

In 2021, I've steadily ordered TR3 and TR4 parts all spring summer, and have gotten my orders very quickly and with almost no backorders at all. Albert seems to be doing very well at running the firm. TRF has been my "go-to" part supplier for many years - over 40. BPNW is my other go-to supplier. I occasionally use other suppliers as the occasion warrants, but usually look at TRF first.
 
Awesome. Thanks for asking - I think we all were a little concerned with the passing of the torch. Not to doubt Albert's skills - I have met him many times and really like him; my concern was more along the lines of "is this what Albert wants to do?" I am very happy to hear they are doing great!!
 
For the people who were in the TRF customer investment program, has anybody had the nerve to ask for the 33% discount since the settlement?

The orders I have placed have shipped very promptly.
Our hobby is very fortunate that it appears TRF continues on.
We need them.

The Roadster Factory participated in the 2021 Triumphest as a financial sponsor. Our disappointment was that they could not send representatives or any inventory. The floks were missed.
 
Speaking of Triumphest 2021 how did it go. I did not make it this year. On a side Note a TR 3 came through Reno and had a front wheel bearing go bad, needed an wheel stem and bearings and seal. The Members Reno British Car Club came through with all the parts me included and had him back on the road to Washington State.

Triumphest 2021 was a succses... The weather was cool but sunny and the frost was off the cars early enough on Saturday to get cars shiny for the Funcours. Numbers were down a bit from the previous events, but still a good showing of Triumphs and their owners.
