Well... I'm doing as requested! I'm a newbie, and here is my first post.

I am the proud "new" owner of a 59 Bugeye... I've had it since Nov of last year, and it went on its first road trip last Thursday (if you can call driving up and down the block three times, for a total of 2 tenths of a mile, a road trip!). It has been fun getting it to the point of being "drivable", and so far things are going well.

I look forward to talking with others who have similar interests, and of course similar problems - hopefully with solutions.

First road trip huh?
You're hooked now! Welcome to the asylum.
These guys are loaded with good ideas.
Best of luck with the "new" fogeye, Guv'na

2/10 of a mile without a catastrophic failure?!?! That's pretty good! (just kidding).
Congrats on the bugeye; I am sure that you are in for a fun summer. I think that you will find the "asylum" (hahaha banjo!) is a great source of info AS WELL as entertainment. Really a great bunch of folks.

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/savewave.gifWelcome to the club! You'll find that the people here are nice, helpful and knowledgeable. If you have a question, no matter how silly or off-the-wall you think it is, there is always somebody here who can set you on the right path. Good luck with the Bugeye! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

Hi and welcome! Like the other guys that already replied, I'm sure you'll find plenty of anwsers to any question you might come across (and you will..)
I envy you a bit for the 2/10 of a mile.. Haven't had my Midget out at all this year .. Like you I'm a new owner: I bought my Midget last august. Can hardly wait to go out again!

Welcome to the playground. Anything we can do to help, just let us know. Collectively there is a lot of knowledge and experience here.
