I acquired my first British car, Nigel, on April 25, 2018. Lots of fun so far. Thanks!

Hello Justin.

Welcome to the forum.

What is the story behind the name Nigel?

David
Thank you, David.

A friend of mine and I in high school used to goof around and call each other Ian and Nigel in terrible British accents. I got the car in North Chesterfield, a suburb of Richmond, Virginia and my friend lives in Richmond, so that's the connection.

We name all our cars, not that we have a dozen, but it makes faster references in car usage and maintenance discussions. Plus, they're like pets, right?
