So the other day I sent out an email to all members regarding the issue recently discovered wherein some people were getting locked out of the server if they tried to view certain threads that had certain key words in the title.
Anyway, this morning I got a reply back from a member complaining that my emails keep going to his old Yahoo account and insisting that he had changed his email to a more recent gmail account.
Well, when I looked up the user in my admin section, it showed he still had the Yahoo account registered as his email. We went back and forth a few times and he kept insisting that he had changed his email address in his user profile. He further insisted that he had just logged in and checked it and was certain that he had his gmail account in his profile.
However, according to my "Who's Online" data, that user had not logged in in the past 24 hours! (In fact they had never logged in since they registered in 2015) I was very confused.
I asked the user to please email me the URL from his browser that points to the member page where he was seeing the gmail account.
When he sent me the link, I had to laugh! He was looking at the Austin Healey Experience web site NOT britishcarforum! Sometimes you just have to laugh!
