How to sell a RHD 1972 Mini Clubman

A really good friend unexpectedly passed away and I have offered to help his wife liquidate some of his cars. There is a yellow 1972 RHD Mini Clubman with the MiniMania rod change kit and 4 speed syncro gearbox upgrade professionally installed. The car is in decent shape with some fiberglass repairs made to the floors where they seem to rust. The seats are rough and I have a sticky LF brake to deal with. I can't seem to find anything comparable out there so where do I start?

Mini Mania has an active website forum and a cars for sale site. You could get an idea of pricing there or do you have any local Mini owners who can help? Eric

Also, check out the title to the car and have someone who knows classic mini help to verify the title and car appearance. Many minis are registered and titled as earlier cars, but are really later built cars. Very important to know the answer to value the car and sell it.

Yes... but he said this is a Clubman. It is highly unlikely that any owner would lie about the age of a Clubman as they don't have the round nose most people think of when you say "Mini". They are a bit harder to sell in the U.S. due to the square nose.

That being said, you will find a home for it. Do check out the For Sale section at Mini Mania both for pricing and as a location to possibly list the car when you are ready to sell it. There is not a higher-profile Mini specific place to list it.
