How to Remove Sunroof on 2500M?

Someone punched a hole in the sunroof of my 2500M today. I've removed the screws at the rear of the sunroof and those securing the side rails, but it's not clear to me what else needs to be removed to remove the sunroof material. Looks like there is a thick metal bar that slides along the side rails, but there isn't enough free play to dislodge the side rails and free up the bar.

If I remember correctly, you need to "turn" the front bar to get the guides out of the tracks.Slide the roof nearly all the way back and bring one side forward until it's free. Keep track of plastic slides etc as they are nearly impossible to replace.

Thats the trick. Do not loose any hardware either. A local trimmer will be able to recover your frame. I generally use German canvas.
