OK, I feel like a retard here.....I have gotten the ENTIRE car stripped except the rear end. I can not for the life of me get the 1/4 leaf out of the box. Is it welded in place there? Or are you supposed to be able to get it out? Or is it a matter of a plasma cutter?

If you have all the bolts out, then the rust has it fused. Get a big hammer and show it who is boss.

You must get all 5 I think bolts out as there is a plate peice on the top that must come off before you can pull the springs.

Two nuts on U bolt. Remove it.

Two bolts from the bottom that are threaded into the spring plate.

One bolt in the middle that the nut is in the middle open part of the spring plate. Remove it.

Out it comes.

Now, that said. if all else fails take the spring apart one leaf at a time, after the bottom parts of the bolts are removed or drilled, and when you get the second bottom leaf off out it will slide right in your face. LOL

Ask me how I know. Sometimes it ain't easy.
