How to recover glove box door..

Is it the proper ting to recover the glove box door with vinyl... What is proper and do you wrap it all the way around to include the back side of the door? Anyone have a picture I'd appreciate it..

Also, Do you think this is something I could do myself..

Yes & Yes & Yes.

That is... originals were vinyl covered, as you expect it covers the front and tucks around back. Some darts or gores or whatever will let you do this and keep the backside from getting too thick. Then the aluminum back goes on.

Certainly something you could try yourself -- probably takes a quarter's worth of vinyl.
