How to Get a Proof of Income for a Mortgage or car loan?

you have to show proof of income, wage slips or if you live in the UK then a P60 which shows total gross income for the year,
from April to April.
Not aware of how it is done in the US maybe something from the IRS

The company providing the loan should tell you specifics of what proof of income they accept.
