Hey - did you know if you click on the title of a thread it will take you to the first unread post since you last visited that thread?
but were afraid to ask: 
STOP!! Never post your email address in open forums. Bots can "harvest" your email! If you must share your email use a Private Message or use the 
smilie in place of the real @

I tried starting a new topic, checked the "post a poll" box and chose four options. Typed in my description text, and clicked Preview.
All I saw was the usual window with my description text - no "poll" format anywhere. Can't find any *poll* references in the forum tutorials.
How the heck do you actually create a poll? the part above the text block, where you see the poll options. Should look something like this:
