I just used a trickle charger on my brand new truck battery. It took less than 24 hours to recharge it. I've heard that the limit on a trickle charger to get to full is 2 days (but that's just a rumor).
If it doesn't get there after 2 days, I'd suspect that the battery has "sulfated" (I heard that term once /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif and the trickle charger won't be able to salvage it.
