I have 2 4in in the doors and 2 6x9in behind the seats. the deck i have now is 35Wx4 and the rear speakers are setup so that they have 180% as much as the front speakers so there is even sound from all speakers. i have fiero seats im putting in soon that im putting in 3.5in speakers in so thats a total of 6 speakers. i'm also going to use bass blockers on them so the low notes dont come through them. and i also want to have someway of adjusting the head rest speakers volume with out adjusting everything else. how should i hook them up?

You will not be able to run all of those speakers off of the amp Built into the head unit. You will drop the Impedance too low and burn up the amp. In order to add the extra speakers you will need a small 4 channel amp, (2 speakers per seat = 4) and it will gave a gain adjust on it to control volume. I would suggest running striaght to the battery to power the amp. As for the front speakers, i mounted 2 3.5" speakers in the console where the original radio speaker was. its close enough to the driver you can eaisly hear them and the blend well with the 6.5's in the back. Not much bass but i will probably add a bass tube to the system later on. I think you idea is a good one but you will need more power to run all those speakers.
