Do you think the guy towing noticed

OK. I got a minute now. When I was much younger, My now, father-in-law and I took his Tempo with a car dolly to retrieve my now, wifes wrecked Renault Alliance. She had found a patch of ice and managed to snap the right rear wheel clean off. so we planned on towing it backwards. To top it off we had forgotton the key so the front wheels of the renault were locked off center. Throwing the last bit of common sense to the wind we strapped it down as best as we could and headed back twards home. 40 miles away. On that way is the rather large hill that decends from the town of Lansing down into the city of Ithaca. On one side of the road is a rock wall where they blasted the road into the side of the hill, and on the other is a near vertical drop 400 or so feet to Cayuga Lake. On the way down the hill, talking to my mother-in-law on his cell phone, the Renault starts doing a number a lot like that panal truck video. It was literally dragging the rear wheels of the Tempo side to side. Hitting the brakes mase it worse, and so did speeding up. the last thing my M-I-L heard on the phone was me saying "OH (Worse word than crud)". My Father in law is an ex-race car driver, and he stayed cool and managed to gather it back up. I thought for sure we were dead.
To this day, I am EXTREMELY careful about towing anything.

Why wont my Adobe Flash player play the clip? I've tried everything!

Banjo, they didn't have cell phones in the Middle Ages.

Was the car in that clip a Gilbern Invader?

I hope it wasn't one of those! That's a nice car, and the dummies towing the one in the video do not deserve to have a car like that and run it into a tree!! :eeek:

The first clip looks like the Tampa\St Pete bridge?

on second look it looks like a subaru wrx

That is scary as he!! Glad I was not behind them.
