How many LBC's could this carry?

I have absolutly no use for that, but somehow I still want it bad!
Corning N.Y. used to have a fleet of double deckers running around when I was little. I wonder what ever happened to them.

a couple of years ago we were driving to NYC from Ontario (through Buffalo) driving down the 1-90 in the middle of the night and passed a double decker bus driving sedately along - still wonder about the story there. I want one bad also - and a firetruck - and a tow truck - and....

I was really just kidding about the transporter conversion thing.....I just couldn't come up with something else fun to say at that moment!

update for anyone curious. I Emailed the director of the "Corning Museum Of Glass" and he kindly replied that to the best of his knowlage the busses had been long ago sold off. They had been purchased from the City of London after London had deemed them "used up" and were a maintenance nightmare. They did attract a lot of attention, but were "expensive publicity"
Oh well.... fond memories.
Check out the Corning Museum Of Glass if you're ever in the area. Its really an amazing place.

I saw one today parked on PCH in Malibu....
it was an open air top one.....
