How hot can it [temperature gauge] get?

Breaking the "ice" from the norm just a bit, you can tell when your having too hot of a day when..

...you're engine is cold in the garage and your temperature gauge reads this!

Yep, that's not good. I used to see the same thing when I lived in the CA central Valley also. PKMH, it's just a good thing Healeys never came with humidity gauges. You would really feel bad.
 
100 Degrees Puff ,it be that hot here in the valley of the sun-[Phoenix AZ-] at 8 AM in ah mornin on its way to 115 Degrees.

So we ain't goin no place very soon in ah Healey---LOL

Not to worry, Rob, feeling bad enough at this moment and don't need another gauge to remind me. If I did have such a gauge, I'd just restore it and leave it as is for show purposes only (or maybe put a clock in its place).
