How do I upload a photo?

I was wondering how I upload photos into my post. I found some brackets in the 1967 Sprite that I wanted to show so I could figure out what they are for.

down at the bottom of the posting area (if you are responding you must use reply - you can't just start typing) is the file manager. click on it and it is pretty clear - browse (to find picture) - add file (to upload) and done adding files (when you are finished.

If the picture file is too big it will not load. then I either resize or use my flickr account and post a link
 
I resize mine by emailing them to myself using the email resizing option. Then move them back to a temp folder. They come out the perfect size for posting then. I'm probably doing it a hard roundabout way, but I'm not the world's biggest computer whiz {8^(.
