I went through, and was going to delete old messages, but didn't
want to delete all of them.
How do I do that?

Step 1: When you highlight the envelope icon in the upper menu, click on "select all". This will give you a list of all your private messages.

Step 2: For those messages you want to remove, check the little check box that is to the right of each message title.

Step 3: At the very bottom of the screen, select "Leave Conversation", then click the "Go" button. This will effectively delete the message from YOUR inbox (but it's up to the recipients to delete the message on their end, if they what to.

NOTE: When you click "Go" to remove (Leave) the conversations, it will give you a pop up to choose whether your want to receive any further replies to that conversation. The default is to accept.
