I was waitin for 'em to melt off - holy cow!

& nobody had marshmellows?

WOW!!!!!! But the guy who wasn't plugging his ears has obviously been doing this for a while an has hearing loss. You don't "get used to" loud sounds - it's physically impossible. When a loud sound stops being loud, you've lost that much of your hearing!

The guy your referring to is the only one prepared with earplugs. You can see them hanging under his chin. I agree that he’s probably been doing this for a while because of them. I wish my car had a throttle response like THAT! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

Thanks for the great clip - even at 6 in the morning it sounds good.

Hmmm, anybody want to hang around the Garage-mahal when we fire up the GRM car? hehehehe

<checks pocket for earplugs> Yup. But I can't find a babysitter for the kids... err... clients. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

Anybody still wonder why they melt suspension pieces when their exhaust breaks. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

There is an IMAX movie called SpeedWay, about American open wheel racing with a side story on Mario Andretti. They have a scene at Cosworth testing an engine on a dyno. Similar scene of header glow. Very good movie, super high quality imagery/photography.
