Wow good to know when you see my 91 500SL coming right at ya....you might think it's a SCL 600...the front grill design is nearly exact cept a little flip on the corner of headlight....BUT MY STEERING WHEEL IS A DEAD GIVEWAY!!
nunyas...looks to be all stick driven like a video game....I'm guessing accleration, braking turning everything controlled through it...of course only as when Paul mentioned "it's not self driven".
BTW: the wheels don't do much for me! maybe with some BIG Coker whitewalls!!! -chuckle
bibber, like flying an old bell helicopter, and it may allow you one free hand for the cell phone /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif doesnt the u.s.a. have a law/laws governing/requiring the use of a steering wheel its size and shape etc. for controling/aiming a vehicle? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif
First time we went to England we rented a car. I was surprised that it didn't take long to get oriented to driving on the opposite side of the road. But a situation arose after we stopped at a pub for lunch one day. Not thinking while walking to the car and being a creature of habit, I inadvertently jumped in the left side and for a second I was totally lost. No steering wheel. My wife like to died laughing and a young British couple did also, especially after my wife told then what I did. Boy, those woman just can't keep quiet! I still get a lot of ribbing about this today.
Paul...Chevy Chase day yesterday on cable..European Vacation..your scene exactly where they get the rental car and Chevy gets in the LHD drive side....don't feel too bad...he then proceeds to drive on wrong side of road...hits 3 cars, a bicyclist
and spends rest of the day in a roundabout....love it!
But Scott, I think the resale value of this would have a slight edge on the Ford Probe. LOL. But remember, it's only a prototype anyway. When one comes on the market, if one does, it'll have a wheel and pedals. AND, probably a six figure price tag or, very close to it.
