My daughter (who's at university in the UK) messages me that Top Gear, which is showing on the TV there right now, is featuring a white TR6. Oh joy! I'm hoping the episode will be available soon on YouTube.

That's an old episode, Julian, and should be available with a minimum of searching. A great piece, really.

Yes, it's a new one. Apparently a white TR6 they try to make amphibious (!)

I've seen the "Bloketastic" red one ...

My favorite youtube six is the french guys traveling to LeMans. Fun driving set to great music.

James May, who said the TR6 was the "blokiest blokes car". Made a white Herald into a sailboat for an amphibious challenge. I hope that is what she is actually talking about. No offense to Heralds but they do actually share mechanicals with actual 'Amphicars' so it is sort of fitting.

The amphibious car was indeed a Herald -- this time they tried to make it across the English Channel. The Herald didn't make it out of the harbor...

"Space Shuttle" (Reliant Robin) launch is on next week's show on BBC America.
