Where might this light hose go, I was told to pt a vacum seal plug on some spots, where i thought it might be located at.

Looks like it's connected to the anti-run-on valve. Leave it hooked up.
 
Its not yet, I do need to connected it and to what plug?
 
It goes from the anti run-on valve to a vacuum pick up point on the intake manifold.

Keenan, what manuals do you have for that car?

Tomorrow call 1-800-667-7872 & get a free catalog sent to you...from that catalog also order part #215-325 which is a Bentley shop manual for the '75-'80 MGB
