Got a line on a one owner 30k tr3 for sale,with OD.Needless to say I made tracks and had a peek.Dear Sweet Mother of Pearl!!! NEVER LET A GOOD TR GET SANDBLASTED !!!! what a horrible sight, all the wings and body tub so warped that they were barely repairable at all! Then of course LEFT to RUST for years in the shed.My best guess is that the blaster did 100 hrs of damage(@46$ per hour)not including materials.
It can never be stressed enough,sandblasting is DEATH to outer,flat body panels.Media/soda blasting are the most efficient ways to remove old paint.They dont remove rust but they dont destroy either.
