Turkey day was the first long trip in the MG, and it was wonderful. 159 down and 159 back. The only blip would have to be the fact that the reclining mechanism on my seat hasn't worked since I bought the little bugger, and 300+ miles bolt upright can be a pain.

Great!
Now if you plan on any more long runs, fix that seat.
I put off fixing the upright seat in my truck until it almost crippled me! Bad idea.
When I go on long trips in the Miata, I change the seat angle a little every 30 minutes or so....it's supposed to help prevent aches and pains that would be created by continous pressure-points. It seems to work.

Thanks for the tip, Nial - I had not heard of that, but it makes sense.

And Matt, congratulations on your successful trip. The wife and I will be taking her MGB to New Orleans for the show there in March. It will be the first long trip in it. Then, we'll be taking it to Gatlinburg for the MG2006 thing.
