Hooking up driving lights

Hey all,
For those who are good at Healey electrics - what would
be the best way to hook up a new set of driving lights
I just installed ? Have a period correct toggle switch
which I can mount either under the dash or perhaps drill a
hole and mount in the dash, but as I know just enough about
Healey electrics to be dangerous, thought I would get some
advice.

I used the dash light switch under the dash. I then wired the dash lights to come on when the light switch is pulled. The dash light switch now drives a relay (mounted on the drivers side box close to the carb linkage), that then drives the fog lights. I also fused the circuit. Works great.

On my BJ8 I replaced the dash or panel light switch with a head and side lamp switch. I wired the new switch so that the panel or dash lights come on in the first on (mid) position. In the second on (down) position both the panel lights and the driving/fog lights come on. However, I also used that new switch to control a relay that actually turns on the fused driving/fog lights thereby reducing the possibility of an overload or short. This method means you need not add and drill for a third switch.
