Are the lift the dot studs longer for the two inside rear corners capping for post 60k?I cant fit new TRF hoodstick cover with the standard studs.Looking for pics I saw earlier car with long studs in this spot.I don't see Moss listing, and they didn't seem to be in any of the kits I got from TRF for all the LTDs. Thanks Tom

You are correct, Tom, the ones that take the overlap flap for the tannau cover are longer. I am not sure where you can get them, though.

On my pre-60K 59 TR3A I used regular length LTD pegs in that location:

Of course you know that the female LTD is sort of upside-down & backwards to fit that peg when the cover is tucked under the sticks:

If a longer than normal LTD peg is needed (for this or anywhere else) I have found them at Mac's Auto Parts

Thanks John and Geo for the info and pics. The TRF cover comes with the 2 female ltds for the inside rear corners installed, with all the other snaps fitted by installer.I currently cant stretch the cover to catch the 2 standard studs I used.Need some other stuff so I will call TRF and see if they have longer studs. Also are thes the only studs on the inside for the cover with the stick ends resting in the little pockets? Thanks Tom

Yes, those are the only ones on the inside of the cover.

My stick cover came from Moss -- it did not have those female LTDs already installed. Perhaps TRF installs them because it isn't obvious to every one how they should be oriented (or even that they are needed -- I have seen many eBay TR3As where they seem to be missing).

The problem may be that the location of the male peg varied somewhat making pre-mounted fasteners a hit or miss fit.
