Holy Sprite pics last weekend

mmmm... looks like a lotta fun had by all

I must be on the dark side...I get no images, just little dark squares where the pictures should be!!

It took a while for it to load here, but eventually it did.

I had to hit refresh a couple of times, the weekend shots start on page 3.
Lot's of fun, lots of work.
10 people on Saturday, 12 on Sunday.
The underside of the floor is fixed, primed, and painted OEW.
Bonnet fitted, doors test fitted, grille fitted (and bonnet tweaked to fit the grille. Metal work and patches all made and welded in even where someone cut large chunks out of the sills and bonnet to fit very wide tires at one point.
All the floor repairs from this Bugeye's airborne adventure in it's past life have been made too.
As of now the body has it's second shot of Bondo and needs top be sanded before some areas get a 3rd coat.
Then prime, sand, and paint.
The body is very straight but we did have some rear end damage from another past life bump in the night.

When is the next gathering?

The next Holy Sprite work weekend should be the 1st or 2nd weekend in November.
I have all the parts, I just dropped off the seats to get recovered.
The body is in primer and the minor dents and dings have been filled.
I have to sand it down, prime it again and check for all those minor imperfections before we paint it.
I am hoping to paint it next weekend (10/18) and have it wet sanded and buffed out by the following weekend 10/25-26) *IF* all goes well, Nov 1st and 2nd looks good. It all dends on the weather for the paint weekend, if it rains, no paint.
