I was down to my local Machine Shop just now......one of my buddies showed me a head he was working on...

2008 6-cylinder, 4-valve Lamborghini.

Lost #1 piston, but that ain't the worst....
The valve guides were all totally shot.

Bronze guides, over .006" wear.
Still under warranty!

Geez, they tow a trailer cross country with it?

Sounds excessive but maybe the car took some beatin's.

I'm pretty sure Lambo just sells V10s and V12s, so that was probably just one head from the V12 model.

(they do make some pretty nice 6 cylinder tractors, but I don't think they sell those in the USA).

I thought it might have been 1/2 of a V-12. No block.
How hard can you BE in a year?

Some money has no sense. Usually third generation money to blame for abuse like that.

Which is why many new M-Bs do not come equipped with a dipstick.

I don't know - I've seen lots of them with aftermarket dipsticks - the just mount them behind the steering wheel

The new BMWs don't either, it is frustrating when you do an oil change and have to wait five minutes for the computer to display the oil level so that you know if you need to add a little more.
