[SIZE=+0]Since I bought my TF, I found out early that two owners back has a lot of maintenance history on it with receipts for work done in the past. I've been three years or more trying to get him to let me have them. I even offered to buy them or pay him for his troubles. He has been promising me all this time he will send them to me, but with no results! He has no use for this stuff but I do, as it would allow me to research the cars history a ways back to, when ever. It's a shame there are people like this who give their word to preform and never follow through. I've asked for this stuff many times with no response. Kinda makes you loose faith in some people. I guess I was born in the wrong century, as I believe a mans word is his bond. I guess I'll never get these papers, what a shame. Sorry for the rant, just ticks me off every time I think about it. He was just here at my place last week. He bought a 74 MGB from me, I will work on him again. Hes going to need some parts for the car.

Marv

Hello Marvin, I would appreciate it deeply if you could come through on this. I've run into a brick wall researching this car and his info. would help get past that wall! He always tells me he's out of the country, or he won't be home, you know, excuses. How long does it take to drop a hand full of papers in an envelope and mail them. Hope you have better luck than I have. Thanks Marv for your help. Incidentally, the cars coming along very well. Had to buy a right rear fender, the original is beat pretty bad and must have had 5 pounds of bondo filling the dents. The grill is being replaced with a restored one. Probably be next summer before it's back on the road again. Thanks again! PJ

The new, (old), fender came this past week and it's in like new condition, the newly restored grill will be here sometime this week. Progress is good. :encouragement: PJ

Progress is a wonderful thing!

I'm just glad someone's making progress. Penny Bugeye is still at the body shop and my GT is up on stands waiting for the steel wheel axle and front hubs to arrive. Too hot to work out there today.

My B got put on the back burner so all progress is on hold. My wife's car slipped a timing belt in her no tolerance motor. We just might be opening that bad boy up for new valves before I get to find a head for the B.

Looking forward to pictures paul. Im living my T dreams vicariously though you.
