I received a used 1967 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII in 1971 as a high school graduation present. It had about 38,000 miles in 1971. Currently, it has a little over 45,000 on the odometer. Now, after sitting for almost 40 years(I had wrecked the Healey in 1974), the time came to resurrect my BJ8. I purchased a frame from Marty Jansen in 2016 and as of early March 2020 great progress was being made towards rolling the Healey out of the specialist's shop and back to my home. All the numbers are correct on this vehicle according to the British Motor Heritage certificate. This will be a very nice restoration, and mostly correct-but not concours. There are many improvements being made to give longer life to the mechanical side. I've gotten some good tips from several forums, and look forward to completing this project in the next year or 2. Thanks for all your wisdom!

Hello Hirsch

Welcome to the forum.

It will be good to get your AH 3000 Mk111 back on the road again.
You will get plenty of tips and hints for your project in the AH section of the forum.
The Pub is an area where almost anything comes up for discussion.
