Ok, anyone here have HID headlights? I just converted my headlights to the H4 housings, and would like to get HIDs (you can now get them from DDM Tuning for only $50, full digital, lifetime warranty)..With such a great deal, i cant refuse..Anyone here have HIDs with the H4 housings? I was wondering if it produces too much glare or not (even though it looks like the housings have the anti-glare shield that covers the bulbs)...

You need a projector (aka eyeball) to properly focus the D2S bulb. Without it, you've got massive glare.

WOW, that is an EXCELLENT write up and video! Very informational. Makes me rethink ever doing that conversion!

As an owner of 2 cars with HID's, Acura TL, I swear by them. Great at less than optimal driving conditions and especially on dark and lonely roads. Generalyy the type of driving where Bugsy stays home. I added relays and Halogen Headlights and they must be doing the job as other people flash their brights at me when I can't see the Hi Beam lamp on.
