Hello to everyone, well long story short, have had my 1957 long bridge for almost 7 years. My husband and I work in unusual places in Bc and always seem to stumble across some sort of treasures. This time off the old Cascde Highway in BC Canada we came upon very interesting car with a tree growing thru the back seat..The fellow we traced the car thru said it had fallen over the side of a cliff and could or would not retrieve it, so we took a chance and brought her home to Cranbrook.. We have restored the car with the help of our uncle. He has restored ,Essex's, Hudson's and now the Healey ..We all go to car shows together, my mother-in-law in here 1934 Hudson convertible, definite head turner, 1939 Plymouth , 1934 dodge coupe, but people love our Healey. What makes this story interesting is that my uncle has Muscular Dystrophy and his love for old cars has inspired us all to keep trying, never give up, and to be happy. Will need help in the future as we all have been scratching our heads lately on ordering rims etc.. your help will be greatly appreciated ,thanks Moehappy

Welcome Moehappy! Please be sure to hang out in the Austin Healey Forum where you will finds lots of helpful folks, ready to answer questions and give advice to help you keep your Healey running its best.

There's also an Austin-Healey club in British Columbia, and you may want to join and meet other marque enthusiasts in your area. They'll know the best sources of parts or service in your area.

I live in Portland, Oregon, but I was just recently in BC for the Vancouver All British Field Meet, an event that you would likely very much enjoy - over 600 British cars there each May!

There is a lot of Austin-Healey activity here in the Pacific Northwest/British Columbia area. Hope to see you and your Healey somewhere. Meantime, check out the Austin Healey Forum here in the British Car Forum.
